Training gets people to competent. Mentors get them to employed. Every cohort we run is paired with people already doing the work.

Matched by track
Mentors are paired with learners on the same track, so the advice is about the work rather than careers in general.

Fixed to the cohort
A pairing runs for the length of the cohort. Both sides know when it starts, when it ends and roughly what it costs in time.

Kept to the point
Regular short sessions on what the learner is actually stuck on, not open-ended calls that quietly stop happening.
