Privacy

If you join the mailing list, we hold the email address you give us. If you write in through the partnership or volunteer form, we hold your name, the organization you named if you named one, your email address, your mobile number and the message you wrote. The volunteer form also asks where you are, so it holds the address and state you give.

Browsing the site does not require an account. Accounts exist for the learning platform only, and are not needed for events, the member directory or anything else here.

Mailing list addresses are used to announce cohorts and Foundation news. Anything sent through a form on the site is used to answer it, and, where somebody has offered to volunteer, to match that offer to a cohort near them. It is not used for anything else.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the Foundation except where a service we use needs it to deliver what you asked for.

We measure how the site is used with privacy-preserving analytics that we host ourselves. It does not set advertising cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and does not build a profile of you.

Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiries are kept while the conversation is open and for as long as the Foundation needs them for its own records.

You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it.
